92-96 Selected Works

Many of these sculptures were inspired by a study of the earliest mechanical inventions including clocks and mechanical toys. They depict the grotesque “open body” with the bawdy laughter of the carnivalesque. Familiar iconography is layered with a literal materiality for a communication that is at once visceral and emblematic.
